About

Meet the owner.

A little about the owner Nisaa. Why I chose to get into the Fitness field. I have always been a lover of fitness and health. Before my car accident in 2014 I was at the gym 4-5 days a week. However, that night changed my life. Still loving to be fit and healthy, I have always wanted to go back to the gym and dreamed of working out with my sisters in Islam in a safe private environment. Working out with a partner is so much better.

The Muslimah Centre LLC was born from a deeply personal need and community-wide gap. As a Muslim woman, I often struggled to find safe, inclusive spaces where I could pursue fitness and wellness without compromising my values. The existing fitness landscape rarely catered to women who require modesty, privacy, or faith-based sensitivity. I realized that I wasn’t alone—many women, especially Muslim women, felt unseen, unheard, and underserved in this area.

This realization sparked the motivation to create The Muslimah Centre: a space designed by us, for us—where women can feel empowered, supported, and unapologetically themselves.

Islam encourages Muslims to exercise and take care of their bodies, but Muslim women face challenges when working out: The Muslimah Centre LLC (TMC) goal is to provide a safe space for Muslim women and minority women in our community to work out. We intend to promote a healthy lifestyle. We will have weekly workouts along with health and wellness coaching.

There is nothing wrong with a woman doing exercise or going to gym if it is in a place that is only for women, where men cannot see them, so long as it does not distract her from something that is obligatory, and it does not lead to her missing prayers or delaying them until their time is over or neglecting other duties.” At the Muslimah Centre LLC we will have a Musula/prayer area for women to be able to fulfill their obligation while getting fit.
